New Account Requirements
When opening a new account with Community Bank of Missouri, we will ask you to provide an unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or a passport and a second form of ID with your name on it such as a voter registration card, insurance card, utility bill, tax receipt, or a debit/credit card for each owner or authorized signer.

Bring your two forms of ID with each completed Customer Information Profile form(s) to either of our bank locations to complete the account opening process.
Our personal checking account options are also available for Trust and Estate Accounts. Please provide copies of Trust and Estate documents at account opening.
Basic Checking
- $100.00 opening balance required
- $100.00 daily minimum balance required – a $2.00 monthly service fee will be assessed if minimum balance is not maintained
- $2.00 per month paper statement fee – fee waived if enrolled in E-statements
Elite 50 Checking
This special account is designed for customers that are 50 years of age or better
- $100.00 opening balance required
- No minimum monthly balance required
- Interest will be calculated on average daily balances of $2,500.00 and above. See Current Rates.
- Free Cashier’s checks
- 20% discount on all check orders placed with Community Bank of Missouri
- $2.00 per month paper statement fee waived
Premier Checking
- $100.00 opening balance required
- $2,500.00 daily minimum balance - a $15.00 monthly service fee will be assessed if minimum balance is not maintained
- Interest is calculated on average daily balances per a tiered interest rate - See Current Rates.
- $2.00 per month paper statement fee – fee waived if enrolled in E-statements
Money Management
- $1,000.00 opening balance required
- $1,000.00 daily minimum balance required - $10.00 monthly service fee will be assessed if minimum balance is not maintained
- 6 withdrawals allowed per month - $10.00 monthly service fee if transaction limit is exceeded
- Interest is calculated on average daily balances per a tiered interest rate - See Current Rates.
- $2.00 per month paper statement fee – fee waived if enrolled in E-statements
- Debit cards are not available for this account
Link Account Agreement
Avoid an insufficient funds fee by signing up for our Linked Account Agreement – In the event that your checking account has an insufficient balance and the funds are available in another checking or savings account, we will automatically transfer the amount required to cover the insufficient balance in increments of $50.00. A $15.00 service charge will be assessed if a transfer is performed.
Fraudulent Transactions
If you believe an unauthorized electronic transaction(s) has been made on your account, contact Community Bank of Missouri immediately at 816-776-6669 or 816-637-6669. If you notice unauthorized electronic transaction(s) after hours, you may call 1-800-500-1044 and report your lost or stolen card to stop any additional transactions. If you notify us within two (2) business days after you learn of the unauthorized electronic transaction(s), you will not be liable for any portion of the unauthorized electronic transaction(s). Failure to notify Community Bank of Missouri within two (2) business days of learning of the theft or loss may result in consumer liability for a portion of the unauthorized electronic transaction(s).
Unauthorized electronic transaction(s) must be reported to Community Bank of Missouri within 60 calendar days of the unauthorized electronic transaction(s) appearing on your bank statement. Failure to report unauthorized electronic transaction(s) to Community Bank of Missouri in a timely manner could result in unlimited liability.
After reporting the unauthorized electronic transaction(s) to Community Bank of Missouri and turning off your debit card, please come in and complete a Fraud Investigation Form or click below to complete and bring to a bank location.
